In the Kitchen with TeaVendor: Summer Tea Salad Dressing

Are you interested in cooking with tea and looking for a fun spin on how to enjoy your tea in a savory way? Then look no further, we have the perfect recipe for you today. Using Matcha as the base, this summer tea salad dressing is our take on a green goddess dressing. This recipe looks a little different to the one we made in the video, after tasting it we noticed it could use a few more ingredients to doctor it up a bit! Check out the new and improved recipe below.

  • ½ teaspoon Japanese Culinary Grade Matcha
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • ½ cup parsley
  • ½ cup basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup pecorino romano, grated
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  1. In a food processor add in all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Now if you prefer to have a bit of texture to this recipe then you can rough chop like we did and it will add a nice bite to the dressing.
  3. Store in the fridge, it can last up to 1 week when kept cold.
